Our Mission

At Dynamo Productions, our mission is simple: to tell the stories of railroads and the people behind them with the highest-quality content possible. In 2010, Dynamo started as one YouTube channel focused solely on steam train videos run by one man. Now a team of 11 cinematographers, editors, narrators and artists from New Hampshire to California, Dynamo’s sights have expanded to all types of locomotives, feature-length documentaries and railroad photo charters.

    CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

    The founding member of Dynamo, Everett is a full-time railroad engineer and conductor, with a passion for steam locomotives and film that drives his efforts with Dynamo Productions.

  • Jonathan Eau Claire

    GENERAL MANAGER

    Jonathan is a railfanning YouTube veteran, posting to the site as far back as 2006. Serving as the General Manager for the Dynamo channel, Jonathan manages the day-to-day operation of our online presence.

  • Hammer Lehmann

    CREATIVE DIRECTOR

    Hammer's knowledge of the technology and art of cinematography, combined with his solo work before Dynamo, earned him a well-deserved place within our ranks.

  • Daniel Day

    EVENT COORDINATOR

    Daniel was introduced to railfanning, videography, and editing with Dynamo when he joined in 2014. As Event Coordinator, Daniel helps organize our photo charters.

    Nick's proven understanding of the art of cinematography earned him a spot on our team at a young age, though his skill and wisdom in the art are well beyond most. His solo work had already gained him relative popularity before joining the Dynamo team.

    Hunter's West Coast disposition provides us with a foothold in the American West, and with his skill in transferring vintage 8mm film, he has made significant contributions of archival footage.

    Dynamo's second member, Michael, has a great eye for the right shot and has been helping grow Dynamo with numerous contributions since 2012.

    Andrew has worked alongside many Dynamo members since the beginning, and he joined our team in 2018. His work as a videographer and editor helps round out our East Coast coverage.

    With years of operating on his own as The 'Nooga Railfan, as well as a frequent contributor to Dynamo Productions, Jason is among the more seasoned YouTube railfan content creators.

    Young and eager to learn, Camdon approached Dynamo Productions in mid-2023 looking for knowledge. After over a year of enthusiastic learning, Camdon joined our group as another capable cinematographer with exceptional potential for growth.
